Housekeeping

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper to ensure that all areas of the building are tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and reliable person able to perform the job well with little supervision. They will be able to follow instructions and respect the cleanliness and safety standards. The goal is to help maintain our facility in good condition so that we can provide our patients with excellent services.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Support your manager and administration in the implementation of the hospital's mission, vision, and overall goals.
• Actively participate as a member of your department by providing excellent customer service, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing operational changes.
• Promote high-performance standards by exhibiting compassion and professionalism at all times and being responsible for your actions, attitude, and body language.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner using multiple communication mediums. This includes notes, e-mails, phone calls, one-on-one interactions, and meeting participation.
• Support performance improvement monitoring by collecting data, reporting incidents, incidents, identifying patient care problems, and providing performance information to your manager.
• Assist your manager in meeting departmental budget goals, identifying capital equipment needs, and developing new strategic goals for the department.
• Follow all departmental and hospital policies. Request clarification and guidance if needed.
• Keep track of equipment and supplies to make sure your department retains the tools needed to provide patient care and to assure departmental resources wisely.
• Manage your time to assure you clock in and out as scheduled, complete your assignments within the scheduled timeframe, and minimize changes in the departmental work schedule.
• Ensure that all assigned areas comply with health and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed by a manager

Skills

• Proven experience as a housekeeper is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques is preferred but not required. Familiarity with health and safety rules and regulations is a must.
• Attention to detail in cleaning (preferred)
• Good physical condition with the ability to work standing for long periods (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
