Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Data Scientist I to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing, developing audit scripts, creating reports and dashboards, and presenting data in a clear and concise manner. This role is integral to our client’s operations, providing key insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits and develop corresponding audit scripts.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to present data effectively.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop sustainable data solutions, and provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Document and communicate changes in systems and analytics to the business, translating complex functionality into business-relevant language.
- Develop and implement data governance standards, from data ingestion to product dictionaries and documentation.
- Utilize data to predict trends and perform in-depth statistical analysis.
- Design and build innovative data and analytics solutions to support key business decisions.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience or equivalent education/training in Python (specifically in Data Cleaning), SQL, Excel.
- Proficiency in visualizing, presenting, and explaining data.
- Ability to understand and work with someone else’s code/script.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in Tableau, Databricks, and coding in Enterprise.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
- Experience in developing and maintaining advanced and automated data cleansing and auditing tools.
- Strong Excel and math skills (advanced academic level).
- Ability to work with large datasets and databases.
