Job Title : Senior Payroll Clerk
We are seeking a seasoned Payroll Clerk to join their dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the payroll department and will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and production of multi-state, biweekly payroll for a workforce of approximately 5,500 employees.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive support to the Payroll department, with a primary focus on the accurate and timely preparation and production of multi-state, biweekly payroll.
- Execute critical auditing tasks, ensuring the accuracy of payroll data by comparing source documentation to entries.
- Leverage Oracle Time and Labor for efficient timecard processing and Retro Adjustments, ensuring all employee hours are accurately accounted for.
- Assist the payroll department with various processes as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team success.
- Utilize Service Now to respond promptly and professionally to payroll-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to all employees.
Qualifications and Skills :
- A high school diploma is required, with additional payroll-related coursework highly desirable.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in payroll, demonstrating a deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Familiarity with Ultimate / UKG Payroll is preferred, showcasing a commitment to staying current with industry-leading software.
- Proficiency in Oracle Time and Labor, demonstrating a strong technical aptitude.
- Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system is a plus, indicating a familiarity with modern customer service platforms.
