The position will reside in one of our two main locations, Glen Mills, PA or Allentown, PA.
Job Summary:
SSRS employs web, telephone, and mail outreach to conduct market research surveys. This position will focus on the selection and oversight of various print and mail resources and vendors, and the management of project schedules and budgets. The print/mail resource coordinator will liaise between our internal team of account/project directors and our external print/mail vendors and in-house mail team. This position would manage the estimating of print/mail work, become an expert on ways to drive response through our mail invitations, and provide oversight and analysis for current and upcoming mail work. The The print/mail resource coordinator will be a self-motivated, high-energy, results-driven individual, who is interested in the future of social science data collection. SSRS will provide the necessary training required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily interactions with print/mail vendors and our internal project teams
- Generate mail cost estimates by analyzing labor, material, vendor options, and time requirements
- Coordinate job specifications, budgets, and schedules with project teams and external vendors
- Manage Mail Proofs approval process and final post-print press checks
- Monitor production activities and costs to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and on budget
- Investigate scheduling and budget discrepancies, and escalate to Director of Data Collection Resources when needed
- Coordinate with both our telephone call center to advise when mailings may arrive / call-ins might begin and with our in-house mail team to alert when incentives may be processed
- Maintain cost database for all mail work
- Manage invoicing and accrual process for all ongoing and completed work
- Backup and assist Director of Data Collection Resources in the management of resource allocation and internal client management, including but not limited to, participating in project Kick Off Meetings
Skills and Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work/educational experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable/Calm under pressure
- Strong decision-making skills; Outside of the box thinker
- Solid organizational and project management skills, as well as high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess analytical skills to analyze metrics and create/maintain reports and databases
