Job Posting for Electrical Project Manager at SST Direct
Seeking an Electrical Project Manager with experience successfully managing Residential and Commercial Projects for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Clearwater, FL.
Role Overview: The electrical project manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects. They will work closely with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and budget for electrical projects.
Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. This includes anticipating and addressing issues related to safety, scheduling, and quality.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure everyone is aligned with project objectives.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that electrical installations comply with industry standards and client specifications.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work adheres to relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Schedule Management: Monitor project schedules, identifying and resolving any delays to keep projects on track for timely completion.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
Procurement: Manage the procurement process for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Problem Solving: Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project, finding practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a project manager in the electrical industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of MS OFFICE/Outlook/PROCORE.
