Our client is seeking a dedicated Plumbing Service Technician with hands-on experience for a direct hire opportunity in St. Cloud, MN. This is a full-time position offering excellent union benefits.
Salary: $25.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time, 7:30 AM start time, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities for Plumber:
- Provide both commercial and residential plumbing services and installations.
- Work with a variety of piping materials including PVC, cast iron, PEX, copper, black iron, galvanized, and Victaulic/grooved.
- Install and service water heaters.
Qualifications for Plumber:
- Minimum of 2 years plumbing experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional education in a 2-year Tech College plumbing program is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
- Reliable and committed to quality workmanship.
- Ability to read blueprints and willingness to learn new skills.
- Common sense, honesty, and reliable attendance are essential.
- Must be avialable for on-call rotation (This is 1 week out of every 6 weeks, and any "after hour" work will be paid at a premium.)
