St. Ambrose Academy is a small Catholic School in Rochester, NY. We have been educating students for over 100 years. We are expanding our Prekindergarten program to host UPK students from our local school district.

### Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners and providing them with a solid foundation for their education. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, implementing educational programs, and fostering the intellectual and social development of students. ### Duties: - Plan and deliver lessons based on curriculum guidelines and educational standards - Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth - Develop and implement age-appropriate activities to enhance students' cognitive, physical, and social skills - Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development - Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students - Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, performance, and behavior - Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment - Utilize technology and other instructional resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences ### Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field - Valid teaching certification or license - Experience working with children in an educational setting (e.g., daycare, early childhood education) - Knowledge of literacy education, physical education, early intervention, special education, or other relevant areas - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and administrative tasks If you are passionate about educating young minds and making a positive impact on their lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position. Pay: $32,000.00 - $34,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
