Overview
The Resource & Recovery Director is responsible for directing the implementation of the Resource & Recovery services program throughout the diocese. This individual manages staff and program operations and develops quality-assurance protocols to ensure compliance with program procedures. The Director provides support and leadership to all volunteers and coordinates with Agency Directors to implement standard operating procedures. They are responsible for communicating program status, results, and trends, and reviewing and approving financial assistance requests. The Director serves as a liaison to disaster case management database administrators and attends inter-agency meetings to represent the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manages staff and program operations, develops quality-assurance protocols
- Provides support, development, and leadership to volunteers
- Coordinates with Agency Directors to implement standard operating procedures
- Communicates program status, results, and trends
- Troubleshoots, monitors, and evaluates existing programs
- Develops and prepares statistical reports
- Identifies additional training needs and provides mentoring
- Reviews and approves financial assistance requests
- Serves as a liaison to disaster case management database administrators
- Coordinates program compliance with grant and contractual requirements
- Identifies community trends and gaps in service
- Attends inter-agency meetings and represents the organization
- Manages teams and facilitates documentation and process training
- Performs other duties as assigned
