About the Role:

As a Junior Cooking Camp Instructor, you'll be the mastermind behind creating an epic culinary adventure for our little chefs aged 6-9. Imagine a world where kitchen tools are your magic wands, and every recipe is a ticket to a taste-filled journey! Your mission? To make cooking an unforgettable experience that's both educational and deliciously fun!

What You'll Do:

• Plan and execute daily cooking activities that are so fun, they'll make cookies jealous.
• Get hands-on with simple kitchen tools like knives, graters, mixers, and ovens (with supervision, of course!).
• Ensure the safety of our budding chefs and create a positive learning environment that's as warm as a batch of fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies.

For the summer 2024 season, our camp kitchen is the hottest spot to be! Get ready for a feast of fun as you embark on this culinary journey. Our all day cooking camps run over four one-week sessions in June, July and August. Safety first! Mandatory pre-camp training sessions in late May 2024 will empower you to be part of something extraordinary.

Position Title: Summer Camp Program Instructor

Division/Department: Parks and Playground/Programs

Reports To: Program Director

Pay Rate: $13.25 - $15.00 per hour depending on experience

Benefits: Full family membership to the fitness center; Free uniform shirts; Medical Care Membership available with low ($68) monthly premiums.
