What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Football Coach position at St. Andrew's School of Delaware?
St. Andrew’s School seeks a part-time football coach for the 2024-2025 season. St. Andrew’s was founded almost a century ago with an unprecedented approach to financial aid and has a long-standing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Coaches report to the Director of Athletics. The successful coach will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary to realize a high level of individual and team success. Instruction should lead to improved ability in the sport as well as good sportsmanship, self-discipline, self-confidence, and a sense of pride in the student-athlete’s accomplishments. Weekday and weekend practices, as well as games, will be required.
Candidates are expected to have coaching or playing experience at the high school level or beyond. Duties include practice planning, training, game strategy, and administration.
