What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kentucky Medication Aide position at St. Andrews Retirement Community?
Coordinates delivery of resident care for his/her assigned shift, including drug distribution to residents, maintaining adequate and accurate records, and cooperates with other personnel to insure optimum service to residents. Supports the philosphy, goals and objectives of Telford Terrace. As a member of the clinical team you must understand the mission of Telford Terrace, which is to provide a setting of quality, compassionate care. This care addresses physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs. Care provided demonstrates understanding and commitment to our mission. Residents care and services is always professional, effective, efficient, and based on "treat others as you want to be treated."
You must have you certification as a Kentucky Medication Aide. A certification in Medical Assisting is not the same certification.
