Support Service Director

 Full- time position 

Works directly under the Administrator

  • LPN
  • Minimum of 2 years working with the elderly  
  • Able to learn, implement and teach new and existing regulations

McCready Manor is currently an Assisted Living Social Model and cannot provide any medical services to our residents.

Primary Duties:

  • Create, maintain and follow-up on care plans for all residents.
  • Schedule and supervise personnel for various shifts; and thus, responsible ultimately to fill-in if a shift cannot be filled.
  • Conduct drug testing on new employees
  • Contact responsible family members when resident’s medication set up needs to be refilled.
  • Supervise the general care of residents with the assistance of other staff members.  Report changes to management and to family.
  • Work with management to understand and comply with assisted living certification and changes in regulations.

The Director is responsible for Functional Needs Assessments and ensuring the H&P are in place. Assessments are to be completed in a timely manner per state guidelines. 

Daily Duties:

  • Take meal orders and deliver meals to those clients who request this service.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, minimal dressing assistance and incontinence reminders
  • Assure that 2-hour checks are completed for clients
  • Help clients with self-administration of medication
  • Respond to call lights in condominiums and McCready Manor

Initial training of new support service staff:

  • Conduct in-service and ongoing training
  • Knowledge of location of condos and residents apartments.

This job certainly includes but is not limited to the above-mentioned items.  The person in this position would always possess qualities of poise and grace, which allows McCready Manor to be operated as a friendly and loving home for seniors.
