Description of School, Mission and Ministry : St. Bonaventure is looking for a highly qualified
English Teacher. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an English Instructor and a strong literature and composition back ground.
The overriding mission of the School is to develop and maintain a Roman Catholic School Faith Community while offering a quality
education that meets the needs of its students and applicable educational standards.
Required qualifications :
- B.A. in English or comparable emphasis
- M.A. / credential preferred
- Adequate experience to teach all levels of English; knowledge of or experience with English 9 College Prep preferred
- Knowledge of current trends in education, specifically in writing and research instruction as it relates to beginning composition instruction.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to incorporate technology in the classroom as a strategy to engage learners.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
