Culinary Supervisor- Independent Living
Are you looking for an opportunity to work in the culinary area? St Camillus is currently looking for a working supervisor to oversee a culinary team working 80hrs every two weeks from 10:30am-7:00pm with rotating weekends

Responsibilities
- Oversees dining room operations: scheduling, assignments, meal service
- Responsible for maintaining furniture, fixtures and equipment maintenance and cleaning schedules
- Maintains high standards of safety and quality for food transportation and service
- Maintains daily temperature logs for refrigerators, freezers and dish machine
- Makes recommendations to Culinary Director regarding equipment, tools, resource replacement and acquisition
- Develop continued improvement plans for: operational needs - service, order taking, storage
- Coordinates special menu/event needs with Culinary Director and Executive Chef
- Maintains appropriate inventory levels and rotation of dry stock and a la carte items
- Completes product orders and maintenance requests as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of food service supervising with supervisory experience
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience in purchasing food, liquor, minor equipment, etc., preferred
- One year catering and banquet experience desirable
- Experience in purchasing food, liquor, minor equipment, etc., preferred
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
