We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who will assist students seeking tutoring services at SCC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Provides welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the ACE Center front desk.
- Greets and directs students to all ACE Center services.
- Schedules, reschedules, cancels, and manages appointments by phone and scheduling software.
- Creates and oversees tutoring schedule and ensures tutors and tutees meet.
- Answers incoming calls.
- Prepares and manages monthly and semester reports and feedback.
- Orders supplies, as needed.
- Handles confidential materials, as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one year of office experience; or high school diploma or equivalent and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Provide excellent customer service
- Word processing, data base and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and as a team member.
- Be committed to your work schedule.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
Hours/Work Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week, all year, excluding college holidays.
