Summary
Responsible for participating in the development and revision of program content, planning of teaching strategies, and implementing and evaluating all programs related to childbirth education including, but not limited to education for parents and families. 

Minimum Qualifications
1. One year of recent experience in teaching childbirth education.
2. High school degree or equivalent.
3. Current certification as a Childbirth Educator from an accredited organization, or certification within nine months of hire.
4. Good organizational and teaching skills.
5. Knowledge of principles of adult education and current standards of perinatal care.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Prior experience in providing education to adult learners.
