What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Bookkeeper (FT) position at St. Croix Casino?
JOB SUMMARY: Accurately process all accounting procedures for the Auditing Department. Manage the front desk during third shift and complete assigned tasks to insure a continual, smooth operation on a day-to-day basis.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Accounting Degree for a two (2) or four (4) year program preferred. Accounting background and experience is required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to accurately process accounting journals on Hotel Computer System. Must be able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure. Must have excellent oral and written communication and accounting skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Accurately process all reports and journals at the completion of the day. Balance all journals, cash transactions, credit procedures and direct bill accounts. Manage Hotel and front desk during the third shift efficiently. Assist with desk tasks, if necessary. Protect the assets of the Hotel.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
