To ensure our position as the market leader in solution technologies and innovation, ST Engineering iDirect is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Business Manager. This role involves leading, collaborating, and managing new and existing internal development initiatives from ideation to completion. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams and provide updates to key stakeholders. Additionally, the Product Business Manager will collaborate closely with Product Managers to drive growth and complete key development activities.

Responsibilities

As Product Business Manager, your role is to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple ST Engineering iDirect Solutions, Platforms, and Products within our portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. The primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Initiative Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and refine product initiatives. Spearhead the formulation of business cases, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs. Act as the central coordinator, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration among core team members and stakeholders.
• Market Analysis. Perform in-depth market analysis to deliver insights that inform product decisions. Evaluate market trends, competition, pricing strategies, and other relevant factors to maintain our competitive leadership position.
• Initiative Execution (Entire Product Lifecycle): Oversee the business execution of initiatives from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with company goals. Coordinate with various stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their involvement in the initiative process. Chair initiative Monthly Progress Reviews presented to stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Lead the risk management process for various initiatives and provide guidance to the team. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and address issues that may impact initiative delivery. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Support Product Managers in lifecycle management and lead the end-of-life (EOL) process, including coordinating with operations, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal product performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, to understand their needs and expectations. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, and sales, to align program objectives and drive successful execution. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Go-To-Market Activities: Collaborate with Product Managers and lead cross-functional teams to successfully introduce new products to the market. This will involve coordinating with all customer-facing teams and ensuring they are ready to launch new products on time.
• Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality standards and processes in collaboration with engineering, operations, and manufacturing to ensure the delivery of high-quality products solutions.
• Continues Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement best practices.

Travel Requirements: 20% or less 

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and skills:

• Proven experience in business, analyst, or consulting roles, as well as portfolio and/or program management. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product business management, BizOps, or related business or technical fields.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to conduct financial and data analysis and construct and communicate recommendations in a business context.
• Experience managing the product business lifecycle of both hardware and software solutions.
• Knowledge of the satellite communications (satcom), networking or telecom industries is a major plus.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Previous experience leading teams across multiple sites, preferably international.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical acumen with the ability to understand key technical aspects of product requirements.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
