The Social Worker is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning. Additionally, he/she is expected to function well as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program.
Minimum Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work from an institution of higher education accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills
Licenses:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
Certifications:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified through the American Heart Association.
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years of counseling and/or social work experience.
