Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Duties: - Assist the dentist during various dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment - Perform other duties as assigned Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in medical documentation software, such as Eaglesoft or CAD - Experience as a dental receptionist or dental assistant - Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Experience with patient assessment, particularly in pediatrics, is a plus If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking for an opportunity to contribute to a positive patient experience, we encourage you to apply.
