LPN - Per Diem - PENFIELD GREEN HOUSES

Per Diem - all shifts needed - flexible hours. Generous pay commensurate with years of experience as a licensed nurse, as well as generous differentials and incentives offered!

Responsibilities

LPNs/RNs are members of a self-directed team and are responsible for providing exceptional care, supporting leisure, maintaining a safe and clean home, and providing meal and laundry support for those who live in the home. As a nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our elders are living according to their desires.

Qualifications

• Current NYS LPN/RN license
• Current NYS CPR certification
• Minimum of TWO YEARS of hands-on nursing experience as LPN or RN
• Previous experience with elder care required
• Leadership, organizational, and communication skills required
• Ability to work at least 2 of 3 available shift times (i.e., day and evening availability); weekend availability required
• Required to attend full 3-day classroom orientation (8:00 am-4:00 pm)
• Must have required immunizations in compliance with the NYS Department of Health

Physical Requirements

Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.

May be exposed to infectious diseases, odors and psycho-behavioral situations
