Job Overview
Responsible for accurate and timely analysis of discharged patients' medical records utilizing patients' electronic and paper charts, including inpatient and outpatient encounters. Assigns incomplete deficiencies for compliance with documentation requirements according to Medical Staff By-Laws, DNV/ISO (Det Norsek/International Organization for Standardization) and NJDHSS (New Jersey Department of Health) standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Two to three years of related experience.
- Registered Health Information Technician, Medical Billing
