Responsibilities
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the online admissions process for prospective students, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for families
- Coordinate admissions events and serve as a point of contact for prospective families
- Provide high-level administrative support to the admissions office, including managing multiple calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence
- Prepare and distribute admissions materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the development and maintenance of admissions databases and records, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
- Communicate with prospective families, address inquiries, and provide information about the admissions process
- Scheduling parent and student visits and answering questions as required to guide families through the admission process
- Support the mission and vision of the School by acting as a brand ambassador and representative
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 1-3 years of professional work experience (preferably in education/admissions)
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Mac/Apple
- Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive, discreet, and mature manner
- Available to work non-traditional hours and weekends (e.g., Open House, school fairs, community presentations, etc.)
- Experience with Hubspot, Blackbaud or other client relationship management (CRM) or admission system preferred
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Demonstrates quality, accuracy, and professionalism
- A track record of giving high-quality, responsive feedback
- Builds relationships and culture through effective communication
- Strong cultural competency skills, with demonstrated commitment to furthering the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community that supports a strong sense of belonging
