What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Education Teacher position at St Mary's Catholic School?
St. Mary’s Catholic School in Belen is now accepting applications for a full-time Pre-K-8th grade PE teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate must recognize and support the unique Catholic mission of the school. The PE teacher will need to plan out activities, support and encourage players, call plays and make decisions for students from Pre-K through 8th grade. The ideal candidate will be able to teach players good sportsmanship, rules, strategies, and techniques. They also need to record the performance of each player to assess growth. This position also includes recess supervision. Candidates must have a current NM teaching license, license from another state, or working on an alternative license. Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check is required.
