What are the responsibilities and job description for the HIGH SCHOOL GOLF COACH position at St Mary's High School?
St. Mary's Catholic School is a small, family-centered, faith-based school system located in a beautiful lakeside community (Storm Lake, IA). For the 2022-2023 school year, we are looking for a High School Golf Coach. This could be for boys or girls, or could be to run practices for both boys and girls together since we do not have a lot of golfers. Then, you would accompany either boys or girls to their golf meets, and someone else would accompany the other team to meets if boys and girls play on the same date in different locations.
Our school system emphasizes high-quality academics and structure as well as faith-based opportunities for student growth. We also pride ourselves in a family-like atmosphere for students, staff, and parents alike. We have small class sizes, few discipline issues, and a positive, supportive environment to work in. Please come join our family-oriented, faith-based atmosphere. You do not have to be Catholic to apply.
Applicants must hold an active coaching authorization or coaching endorsement within the state of Iowa. They must be willing to complete relevant trainings upon hire, if not already done (Mandatory Reporter, Bloodborne Pathogens, etc.), and they must also pass a background check and complete a diocesan Virtus Safe Environment training (entirely done online) prior to hiring.
If you are interested or have questions, please contact Ryan Berg, 6-12 Principal, at rberg@stmarys-storm.pvt.k12.ia.us Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to meeting you!
