ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring a Senior Physical Security Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Senior Physical Security Specialist, you will perform a variety of security management functions in support of the J2 Special Security Office (SSO) to include physical security. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous experience observing/documenting findings and ensuring compliance with standard SCIF operating procedures IAW Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, IC Technical Specification for ICD/ICS 705
Version 1.5.1 (or successor policy) and related policies. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will review, analyze and develop
complex Construction Security Plans through the review of technical drawings, ensuring requirements are met for secure construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (current or with investigation deferral action within the last three (3) years)
- Five years of experience with managing all the physical security aspects of the SCIF/TSCIF lifecycle from concept approval, developing and implementing a SCIF/T-SCIF construction security plan (CSP), completing, maintaining, updating, and submitting the Pre-Construction Checklist, Pre-Construction Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and Pre-Construction TEMPEST Checklist to the final FFC and TEMPEST Checklist with TEMPEST Form B for accreditation and re-accreditation, and proper SCIF close-out procedures
- 5 years of experience with evaluating and processing approvals and accreditations for SCIFs/T-SCIF, Secure Working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a non-traditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks
- Associates degree in related security field
- CDSE Physical Security Certification (PSC)
- CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide the TEMPEST and Physical Security recommendations to the SSO Physical Security Manager, Accrediting Officials, Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority concerning the accreditation of SCIFs within SOCOM enterprise.
- Review, analyze and develops complex Construction Security Plans through the review of technical drawings, ensuring requirements are met for secure construction projects.
- Conducts detailed reviews pertaining to Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and other secure facility vulnerabilities ensuring appropriate mitigations and countermeasures are applied ICW the SSO Physical Security Manager.
