Job Posting for Fundraising & Events Manager at St. Paul's Senior Services
OVERVIEW: The Fundraising and Events Manager works in the Foundation to raise funds that support the programs and services of St. Paul’s Senior Services. This position supports the Foundation in all of the developmental-related fundraising events, campaigns and activities. It is a fast-paced position that requires wearing many hats, adjusting quickly to new challenges and juggling several projects simultaneously.
Successful project management will require a blend of creative and critical thinking, excellent interpersonal communication skills, with an instinct for cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors, volunteers, vendors and internal staff.
Candidate must be computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and have the ability to create flyers, email blasts and newsletters. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge is a plus.
The Fundraising and Events Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation as well as their Director of Donor Management, but interacts on a daily basis with the entire Foundation team. The position will also frequently interact with other departments within St. Paul’s and will also reach out to board members, donors and volunteers.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university. Requires a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
