Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary instructor for all subjects within the 3rd grade curriculum, including but not limited to English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Religion.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, while aligning with curriculum standards and school goals.
- Embrace and integrate the Catholic faith into classroom instruction and activities, fostering an environment where students can grow spiritually as well as academically.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the holistic development of each student.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Prior experience teaching elementary school students; experience in a Catholic school and/or in a lead teacher position are a plus.
- As this position includes religious instruction, applicants should be practicing Catholics with a clear understanding of the Catholic faith. We are looking for individuals who are eager to share their faith and values with our students.
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering the growth of their faith life, academic potential, and social/emotional health.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Salary Range: Our salary range starts at $48,000 but is negotiable based on experience. Full time positions include a full suite of benefits including health, dental, 401k match, and more, offered through RCAB.
