_*Prepares certificates for distribution at the time of the celebrations of Baptism, Profession of Faith, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and Matrimony.*_ * _*Prepares for mailing the canonical notification of Confirmation and Matrimony for the Pastor of the parish of Baptism.*_ * _*Receives and records Mass intentions with accompanying stipends as well as their external distribution or celebration at Saint Peter Parish.*_ * _*Schedules intentions for Masses at Saint Peter Parish according to the prescriptions of the Code of Canon Law and the policies of the Diocese of La Crosse and the parish.*_ * _*Processes requests for certificates of Baptism, Confirmation, First Holy Communion, Profession of Faith, and Matrimony including their preparation and mailing according to the prescriptions of the Code of Canon Law and the policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.*_ * *Assists the Director of Catechesis and Evangelization, Director of Sacred Music and Organist, Coordinator of Youth Apostolate, and the leadership of parish councils, committees, societies, groups, and organizations (*including but not limited to, Rosary Society and Holy Name Society*) in their routine secretarial and clerical needs.* * *Composes, prints, and assembles the weekend “pulpit” announcements as well as the Prayer of the Faithful for the Lord’s Day and Solemnities.* * _*Notifies the Family Life Committee new parents meal coordinator at birth of child.*_ * _*Assists the bereaved in using the parish Guide for Funerals as directed by the Administrative Assistant or Pastor*__._ * _*Administers the pre-marital inventory F.O.C.C.U.S. (*__Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study__*) as directed by the Administrative Assistant or Pastor.*_ * _*Coordinates parish participation in the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools (*__S.P.A.C.S.__*) gift card and “power sales” programs including recruitment and scheduling of volunteers as well as weekly drop off/pick up of box and balancing of contents.*_ * _*Solicits, publishes, and assembles for mailing the schedule of liturgical roles.*_ * _*Conducts other routine clerical and secretarial tasks as directed by the Pastor, the Director of Catechesis and Evangelization, the Director of Sacred Music and Organist, Coordinator of Youth Apostolate, and the Administrative Assistant.*_ * _*Works collaboratively with parish staff and volunteers as well as with the administration, personnel, and volunteers of the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools (*__S.P.A.C.S.__*).*_ * _*Attends regularly scheduled meetings of parish staff and, upon reasonable notice, other meetings as deemed necessary by the Pastor or Administrative Assistant.*_ * _*Maintains confidentiality on all matters of a sensitive and personal nature that transpire in the rectory, parish, and school.*_ * _*Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Administrative Assistant.*_ _*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities*_ * _*Knowledge of clerical and secretarial procedures and methods, including but not limited to, personal and telephone communication, office systems, word processing, as well as file and record management.*_ * _*Knowledge of the basic principles of bookkeeping.*_ * _*Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including but not limited to, the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, grammar, and editing.*_ * _*Knowledge of the fundamentals of the Roman Catholic faith.*_ * _*Skill to use office equipment, including but not limited to, telephone
