Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Treatment Coordinator. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations within our oral surgery office.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect patient information and update EMR
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Assist with billing and financial inquiries, including processing payments
- Present treatment cases in office, and follow up with patients that do not schedule in office
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental administrative support role or similar position preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, specifically oral surgery
- Proficiency in using office equipment, including phone systems and computers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
