Job description/Responsibilities:

APPROXIMATE PAY RANGE:
$84.62 - $104.05
Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with kidney conditions that require dialysis treatment. Reviews patient histories, administer medications and performs dialysis treatments. Ensures dialysis machines and all products used during treatment are properly prepared and meet quality standards. Monitors the patient during dialysis, records observations in the patient medical record, and reports any changes in condition to the physician as needed. Requires graduation from an approved nursing program. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a state license to practice. Years of experience may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
At least 2 years of hemodialysis experience. PD dialysis experience preferred. Nephrology Nurse certified or will be certified within a year from hired date.

Required Qualification:
1. Current valid CA Registered Nurse license required.
2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
3. Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required.
4. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
5. Minimum one-year experience required.
