We are looking for an experienced Measurer. This position directly contributes to the company’s success by ensuring exact measurements for porcelain installations. As a measurer, you will be responsible for jobsite laser measurements for surfaces including countertops, floors, and walls. You will also travel to the client’s locations, capture the required data with the latest laser measuring devices, and submitting all documentation. This is full-time position, with benefits and a growing career.
Key Functions of this position:
Responsibilities
- Measure jobs as scheduled daily and accurately
- Prepare detailed shop drawings
- Responsible to set the expectations and educate our customers with industry and service provider standards and guidelines
- Responsible for uploading all measure files and photos to company CRM
- Communicate with customers over the phone and in-person, to provide critical information to the customer
- Collaborate with Schedulers and Installations Managers on topics relevant to the job, workload, and service as needed.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years relevant experience working with home center measurers, 2D3D lasers, and/or, construction related experience requiring measuring and drafting
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software
- Ability to drive to locally between projects throughout designated areas
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Must continuously stand, walk, regularly requires lifting, handling, carrying material of moderate weight (Up to 20 pounds)
