Hardware Deployment Technician

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Hardware Deployment Technician to join our team based out of Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform installation, and support of new Windows based computer systems. Install Image and software on laptops and workstations. Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities. Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals. Coordinates with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs. Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content. Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes. Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: 1 years of experience in Information Technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making. Experience in Customer Service. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Productivity applications. Must be able to travel at least 25%, domestic and internationally. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: One or more technical certifications (Comp TIA ITF , A , Network , Security , MS Endpoint Administrator, etc.) highly preferred. Security Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance. A current and active Secret clearance strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time. Must be able to type. Must be able to work in an office environment and be able to freely move within this space to utilize office equipment as well as interface with co-workers and customer. Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, fax machine, etc. Must be able to review; decipher and understand program manuals; software/hardware manuals; training manuals; etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
