MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1. Responsible for global planning and reporting of ICL/TICL products and accessories
2. Responsible for global planning and reporting of Acrylic Preloaded products
3. Responsible for global planning and reporting of Silicone Preloaded products
4. Responsible for creation and update of the Master Plan (MPS) for all products
5. Responsible for monthly meetings to determine and present the Master Plan to the operations team and the sales & marketing department
6. Responsible for the integration of the sales forecast/budgeted sales into the Master Plan on a recurring basis, as required, in order to generate the global master plan
7. Responsible for the development and presentation of reports to track and demonstrate forecast variance on a global basis to the operations and sales & marketing teams
8. Responsible for oversight & reporting of consignments, and inventory at stocking distributors, on a global basis
9. Schedules and leads regular consignment/inventory management meetings with the sales & marketing and logistics departments
10. Works closely with the production planning team to develop and update run rates for use monthly with the PTP reporting system
11. Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education/experience
• APICS Certification desirable
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3 years of master planning experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing or distribution environment
• Experience with global planning for multiple distribution sites
SKILLS
• Must have good communication skills at all levels
• Computer literate with very strong Excel skills, intermediate or advanced skills with Word, Visio and PowerPoint, and strong MRP/ERP systems knowledge
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, and CFR Standards; understanding relative to the medical device industry
