Software Engineer – Full Stack
We are looking for a Software Engineer - Full Stack (Java and Angular), to join the development team responsible for the UI and Integration of the Pointillist Customer Experience Analytics platform.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Develop and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant software that will help drive improvements towards the features, reliability, performance, and efficiency of GENESYS Cloud/Pointillist.
Work with development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementation of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
Have a desire to learn new things
Design and implement major changes and new features using Java, Spring, and Angular.
Leverage AWS technologies for the delivery of solutions
Work as part of a cross-functional Agile development team.
Actively review code and provide peer feedback.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve pain points as well as evangelize best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as required.
Gain an understanding of Pointillist UI and development practices
Stay up to date on current technology trends, perform proof of concepts, and make recommendations for the adoption of new technology.
About You:
Experience developing applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate (JPA), Angular
Experience with REST-style web services and frameworks, especially Spring Boot
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Linux, AWS, and networking concepts.
Ability to rapidly learn new software, frameworks, open-source tools, and development languages.
2 years of software development experience with experience working with UI frameworks
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
Benefits and Compensation
Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of 80,600 USD – 167,400. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
