Opportunity:
Client will begin production in late October/November. This is a full-time, direct-hire position, assisting the screen printing operation
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Auto Assistant is responsible for assisting the Auto Press Operator with the production of screen-printed apparel goods.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Unload printed garments from the auto press for continuous printing production while checking the quality of the print
· Assist the Auto Press Operator with setups of the auto press
· Maintain communication with the operator of any/all prints that are not up to standards
· Communicate with the Quality Controller of any changes in production orders and the sequence in which garments will be printed
· Must help team meet daily/weekly goals
· Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
· Consistently deliver pieces with a short turnaround time
· Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
· Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS
· Some experience in print production preferred. Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
· Must have a good understanding of quality print standards and to be able to differentiate the bad from good quality prints
· Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
· Ability to handle a physical workload
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
REPORTS TO
· This position is a direct report to the Screen Print Production Manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· This position operates in a manufacturing and production floor environment. This role routinely uses standard screen print press equipment.
