General Labor/ Production 

Schedule:  Monday - Friday

Located: Cortland, OH

Responsible for performing production work. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Packages finished product. Inspects product to ensure high quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the Production supervisor.
  • Start up and stop production lines and support equipment.
  • Clean production area, sweep, mop, and remove excess debris.
  • Load and unload raw materials from Feed bins, equipment, carts, and dollies.
  • Feed or place raw material into equipment for processing.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Turn valves to regulate flow of nitrogen and compressed air.
  • Read and interpret gauges.

Qualifications:

  • Education - High School diploma or GED is required. An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred.
  • Experience - One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
