We are seeking a full-time patient concierge/coordinator to work for a surgical practice located in Napa, CA. Training and some office hours will be in Sonoma. Once trained at least some of the duties can be performed remotely.
The Concierge will be responsible for creating a positive patient experience, beginning with phone contact with the prospective patient, displaying accuracy, efficiency and a professional demeanor. Great customer service skills are a must.
Core responsibilities include:
- Contact potential clients who have registered utilizing AI software
- Collect insurance information and other demographics and add to EHR. Set-up new patients in the EHR. Schedule new patient consults
- Describe our services and answer questions about the practice and the services offered
- Discuss pricing where applicable. Collect payment for cash pay patients
- Call primary care offices to obtain referrals as need
- Guide the patients through the process leading up to surgery, keeping them on track with necessary testing with outside providers.
- Interact with patients in a respectful, compassionate and professional manner
- Work as part of a team and work collaboratively with physicians and other staff members
- Manage clinical schedules, keeping them up-to-date
- Manage online support groups
- Set up in-person support groups
- Call patients on post op day one
- Maintain patient photo library
- Maintain email data base
- Send email blasts for cosmetic procedures weekly
- Possess a high standard of attendance and punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred
- Two years' experience in medical practices and/or customer service
- Experience with EHR platforms
- proof of COVID vaccination
- Salary depends on experience and education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
