Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on machined components using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
- Conduct first-article inspections to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection, preferably in a CNC machining environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
