What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at StaffEx?
StaffEx is currently hiring Material Handlers for a Medical Supply store in the North East Tampa area. Our client invent, develop, manufacture and market improved fixation products for the orthopedic community. The position is Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and the pay rate ranges between $15-20/hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Packaging, labeling, and steam sterilization of medical devices
- Inspect incoming and final product
- Complete quality documentation, including paperwork for sterilization, inspection, and release of products
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Maintain inventory and processed paperwork
Requirements:
- Experience with medical device or other regulated industry preferred
- Great attention to detail is necessary
- Strong team player with good verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and be flexible to changing priorities
- Must have computer experience
- Knowledge of FDA regulations preferred
- Must pass background check and drug test
