What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Cleaner position at Staffing Network?
We are looking for punctual and reliable General Cleaners to take care of our client's facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties located in New Port Richey, FL. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Second Shift Hours: 4:30pm to 12:00am (Mon thru Fri)
Hourly Payrate: $13/hr
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a General Cleaner
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulation
Requirements of a General Cleaner
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
