Position Summary:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated, technical, and organized individual to join forces with our Vice President of Research and handle all aspects of configuring and managing our new Tech Cloud Stack.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Setting up tools and required infrastructure
Ø Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
Ø Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
Ø Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
Ø Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
Ø Setting up tools and required infrastructure
Ø Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
Ø Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
Ø Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
Ø Incidence management and root cause analysis
Ø Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
Ø Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Ø Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
Major Systems Used:
Ø AWS, Snowflake, Pulumi, Github, DBT, Hex & Streamlit
Helpful Skills:
Ø A DevOps Engineer’s role requires technical skills in the development cycle and operations skills for maintenance and support
Ø Experience working on Windows & Linux based infrastructure
Ø Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
Ø Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
Ø Excellent troubleshooting
Ø Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
Ø Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
Education/Experience:
Ø 7 years of data management/ engineering experience.
Ø 3 years of experience in cloud Datawarehouse's specifically Snowflake
Ø Advanced and hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript and SQL
Ø 3 years of experience with AWS for developing applications that include its services like S3, Lambda etc.
Ø Database CI/CD knowledge
Ø Ability to multi-task and deliver within a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
