As a Warehouse Specialist, you'll coordinate customer order processing, assist the Warehouse Supervisor, and handle pick/packing tasks according to detailed procedures. Your role will involve reporting inventory discrepancies, communicating with customer service, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
Essential Functions:
- Read and interpret customer orders to identify items and their locations.
- Pull and distribute products from warehouse bins to the production floor or pack and ship orders.
- Ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., shipping labels, packing lists) is included with orders.
- Verify special instructions are followed when shipping products.
- Lift cartons up to 50-60 lbs. for 4-6 hours and spend 8 hours walking/standing with additional time for bending/stooping.
- Adhere to safety policies and participate in special projects as needed.
- Strong math skills and a keen attention to detail
- Basic English communication skills
- Familiarity with packing procedures, shipping documents, and warehouse operations
- Ability to adapt communication styles to meet diverse needs
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of warehouse fulfillment experience preferred
