Pay: $15.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
As a Assistant Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for generating and sending detailed invoices to customers, converting estimates as needed. You'll maintain accurate Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports, track overdue payments, and communicate with customers to facilitate collections. Your tasks will also include recording payments using accounting and billing software, scanning, filing, and logging financial documents, and sending quotes to customers with follow-up as necessary. Additionally, you'll compile data for deposit breakdowns, report delinquencies to management, and manage bookkeeping for multiple companies while adapting to evolving accounting requirements. You will also communicate financial concerns and suggest strategies for minimizing debt, all while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
