Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Billing Adjustor for our Billing department and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure professional customer service and support to field operations for adjustment related duties.
Essential Duties
Your Day-to-Day responsibilities include activities such as:
- Responsible for invoice adjustments and any necessary reporting or record keeping.
- Assist and work closely with the field, client services and/or client as needed on adjustment related duties.
- Act as a liaison between the corporate office and the field to resolve issues, answer adjustment related questions, and any additional steps needed for field as it relates to adjustment requests.
- Get all proper approvals per the designated guidelines based on dollar amount of changes.
- Keep all work instructions and/or notes current and updated on a weekly basis.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Competencies we value for this role include Ethical conduct, thoroughness, detail-oriented, excellent written and oral communication skills, organized and have great time management. We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED, one year of related experience in payroll, PeopleSoft or other HRIS technology. In addition, the incumbent should have great attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, has strong documentation skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills, and can effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
