Manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Reads blueprint drawings, work orders and tooling instructions to machine plastic parts on a CNC lathe machine according to customer specifications.
Programs, set-ups and runs machine tools on the lathe machine.
Loads parts to the fixture and secures the work piece, tools and tool holders.
Selects tools to perform the required operations.
Monitors tool wear and changes tools and inserts as required.
Uses measuring equipment to ensure that parts meet specifications within very close tolerances.
High School diploma or GED required
