What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Staffmark?
Staffmark has an exciting direct hire opportunity to work with a world-renowned, single-source provider of production and automated assembly systems for the aerospace and defense industry in Santa Ana, CA, as a CNC Machinist.
Pay: $20-$32 per hour (Based on experience)
1st Shift Hours: 5 am - 1:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Essential Functions:
- Performs sets-up and operates a 5-axis CNC Mill to provide quality parts and tooling.
- Collaborates with Engineering, Programming, and Quality Inspection.
- Analyzes/Interprets blueprints.
- Use manual inspection equipment i.e. Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gages, etc.
- Maintains work area, tools, and equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
Qualifications: 2 years of experience operating full 5-Axis CNC mills, proficiency with Fanuc 15MB and 30i controls, previous experience machining Invar, Aluminum, Composite, and Graphite materials, a solid understanding of machining techniques and processes, and the ability to MDI (Manual Data Input) hole patterns and radii. The ideal candidate will also be CNC Machinist/Forklift/Crane Certified.
