What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Route Driver position at Staffmark?
Staffmark is hiring Full-Time experienced Delivery Route Drivers (Non-CDL) in Glendale, AZ 85307! You will be delivering subscription food boxes typically within a 100 mile radius of the warehouse. These are long term positions with real growth potential!
Shift/Pay/Hours
-$19/hr
-Day Shift
-6am until delivery route is complete (8-12 hours depending on route)
-4 day work week (3 set days, 1 floating day; WILL include a Sat or Sun)
*We provide the delivery vehicles, fuel, training, safety coaching and more!
Delivery Route Driver Requirements:
-MUST be 22 years of age.
-MUST have 6 months previous Sprinter Van, Box Truck, or similar experience.
-Posses and maintain a valid Driver's License.
-Must pass MVR.
-Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
-Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-motivated and exceptional customer service skills are preferred!
Delivery Route Driver Responsibilities:
-Operate a Cargo Van / Sprinter Van to deliver products to customers in an assigned route
-Maintain proper delivery logs (including photos of completed delivery) and handheld records
-Perform inspections of your vehicle before and following each trip
-Comply with company regulations and follow work safety practices
-Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
-Troubleshoot customer delivery access issues
-Communicate with dispatch as needed
