What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift / Loader position at Staffmark?
Staffmark is hiring an equipment operator and loader for the Pelham, AL area! This position is working in a yard operating a sit-down forklift to pull and transport product as well as doing heavy lifting of materials that can weigh up to 70 pounds. Qualified candidates will have warehouse or loading experience as well as experience operating a powered industrial equipment. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a growing company! Pay Rate: $16.00/hr, Overtime at $24.00/hr.
Shift: 7:00 – Finish Schedule: Monday - Friday Full time hours with benefits available first payday
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment and pull product to fill customer orders.
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials.
- Track and record units of materials while following safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 1 year of recent forklift operator experience.
- Must be able to comfortably and consistently lift 70 pounds.
- High School Diploma or GED is required. Stable, verifiable work history. Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good attendance and reliability are a must!
