Requirements:

Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED; additional training, degrees, or diplomas in industrial maintenance or a related discipline is preferred.

At least 5 years experience as a heavy industrial millwright and/or maintenance mechanical technician; at least 5 years of experience as a welding/fabricating technician skilled in SMAW, MIG, and TIG.

Certifications Required: Crane, Forklift, Aerial Lift, Pallet Jack, Confined Spaces, Fall Protection, Hot Workers, Lock-Out/Tag-Out.

Possess excellent communication, mathematical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
Pay: $16 - $22.27

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance on heavy machinery, as well as building maintenance.

Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Install, maintain, repair, or rebuild complicated machine tools, special-purpose machines, and plant equipment under minimal supervision.

Disassemble equipment and determine the extent of repairs necessary; repair, refit, or replace worn or defective parts.

Perform fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry duties, and other maintenance functions as needed.

Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
